Southeastern Chapter Members Start the Process of Putting
Active Chapter in Place

On March 1, 2010, members of the Southeastern chapter gathered in Wilmington to start the process of putting an active chapter in place. Danny Searle-Spratt was nominated as the Steering Committee chairperson. Terry Gore (Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department), Greg Githens (Oak Island PD) and Travis Avery (Wilmington PD) are also part of the committee. Executive Director John Midgette and Eastern Coastal Sr. Vice-President Mike Perkins were also in attendance to offer support and answer questions. The Southeastern Chapter covers Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover Counties.
