Congressional Candidate Seeks PBA Endorsement

On May 30th and 31st, Congressional candidates who were seeking the endorsement of the PBA were interviewed in Raleigh. These candidates were asked a series of questions relating to due process, protection of retirement plans, and protection of personal information. A question was also asked about the development of a congressional resolution whereby law enforcement would have the right to meet with management to express concerns and make suggestions for the improvement of their particular agency or department. The candidate answers and input from the membership will be utilized to make endorsements of selected candidates for the November general election. Members from the Eastern Coastal Chapter, the NC Highway Patrol Chapter, the NC Correctional Officers Chapter and the Cary Chapter participated in the process.
