On April 4 and 5, NC Correctional Chapter Senior Vice President John Walker took part as competitor, as well as a Range Officer, in the Table Rock Challenge II. A GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) competition, the Table Rock Challenge began last year as a fund raiser for Burke County Deputy and SWAT Officer Martin Lawing, who was seriously wounded during a standoff in 2007.

The GSSF is a series of shooting matches organized and sponsored by Glock. The first matches were held in 1991. The matches include categories for beginning shooters as well as experienced competitors. Prizes at each match include several new guns and hundreds of dollars in prizes.
