Nominations are accepted all year with a
deadline being December 31rd.
Nominations must
be for actions or behavior by nominees in the year that the
award is to be given. Information from previous years may be
used to show a pattern of consistency or exemplary behavior
over a number of years, but must related to the nominated action
in the actual year of the award.
Nominations may be given to a committee
or executive board member.
You do not have to be a PBA member to
nominate someone.
You must be a PBA member to receive the
award.
After the nomination period closes, the
Officer of the Year committee will narrow the list to five
nominations.
These five nominations will be presented
to the Cary Chapter board to select the Officer of Year award.
Everyone that is nominated
will receive a certificate. The five finalists for Officer of
the Year will receive a plaque designating that they were a
finalist. The Officer of the Year will receive a plaque
designating that they are the Officer of the Year.

assisted law enforcement personnel

Investigative Work/Substantial Case

Any other performance that is considered
to be excellent
Valor-Acts of Heroism or Bravery
