Cary Chapter Makes Endorsements in Cary Town Council Races

The Cary Chapter of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association recently hosted candidate interviews for those seeking election/re-election to the Cary Town Council. On August 27, 2007, candidates were invited to meet with members and discuss issues that are vitally important to the PBA and public safety. Some of the issues discussed included local and legislative support for law enforcement issues, support for benefits enhancement, and budget support for personnel and equipment. Based on the screening committee’s recommendations the Cary Chapter Board of Directors voted to endorse the following candidates in the October 9th election. The endorsements are as follows: Mayor – Ernie McAlister, District B – Nels Roselend, At-Large – Tommy Byrd and District D - Gale Adcock.
