Cary Chapter Closes out Membership Drive with 16 New Members

The Cary Chapter recently closed out its membership drive with the addition of 16 new members. The drive was designed to create excitement and competition along with increasing the membership. As part of the membership drive a founding Chapter membership card was created.  This card was disbursed to all members who became or were a part of the Chapter before the end of 2005.The drive ran from October through December of 2005. Monthly prizes were donated by members. The member who signed up the most new members in a particular month claimed the prize. Each of these monthly winners, in turn, was eligible for a grand prize drawing. Peggy Marchant won the prize for October, which consisted of two Carolina Hurricanes tickets. Greg Harris won the prize for November, which was a backpack. Lynne Brawn won the prize for December, which consisted of a gift certificate for the Outback Steakhouse. Each of these monthly winners had their name go into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to www.gunnersalley.com. This company is co-owned by former PBA member and Cary Officer Brad Justus. His company supplies holsters and shooting glasses. Brad’s company also offers a 10% discount to PBA members. On January 12, 2006, at the monthly board meeting Brad presented the certificate to grand prize winner Greg Harris. The membership committee and the members who donated prizes are to be commended for a very successful drive. A special thanks is also in order to Brad Justus for his involvement and support of the Cary PBA Chapter.
