On March 30, 2009, a letter was sent to newly appointed Town
Manager Ben Shivar on behalf of the Cary chapter Board of Directors. The letter
gave a background of the PBA along with highlighting Cary chapter successes. The
letter also requested the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with him. On
April 8, 2009, the Town manager replied back to the letter stating his reasons
for not agreeing to meet with the PBA. The Cary chapter will continue its work
with Town Council members to address important issues.
