Cary Chapter Shows Unprecedented Membership Involvement

The Cary Chapter recently closed out an incredible year of participation by the membership in various activities related to the Chapter and NCPBA.  The process started for the membership with an informational meeting about forming an individual chapter in June of 2005.  A steering committee was put in place and the board was elected in October of 2005.   In November of 2005, the Cary Chapter selected their first executive board.   Numerous committees were put in place to handle the business of the Chapter.  Including the informational meeting on June 26, 2005 through June of 2006, 57 members have chosen to participate in PBA activities.  This includes monthly chapter meetings, political screenings, candidate events, meeting with elected officials, committee meetings, training, retirement recognition, and Police Activity League team sponsorship.
