Jeff Ward, a Cary chapter member lost his sister to Lekemia when she was 8 years old. On March 6, Jeff is going to participate in a children's cancer fundraising event in her honor at the Hibernian Pub in Cary. The fundraising effort is through an organization called St. Baldricks. Last year this organization raised more money for childhood cancer research than any other organization except the federal government. As part of the event Jeff is going to have his head shaved.
