Cary Chapter Continues PAL Sponsorship of Senior Babe Ruth Team
Police Activities League Sponsorship Important Part of PBA
The Cary chapter is sponsoring a Babe Ruth team through PAL for the fourth straight year. The North Carolina Police Activities League Inc. (PAL) is a charitable arm of the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association. PAL seeks to build a positive bond between cops and youth in various age groups. The Triangle Senior Babe Ruth League provides an opportunity for players between the ages 15 to 18 throughout all of District 2 in Eastern North Carolina to participate in a challenging league and further develop their advanced skills. Character, leadership, and sportsmanship are emphasized in the Triangle Senior League. The team is coached by Bob Slocum and Bill Kamszik.
