Cary Board Member’s Wife Serves as PBA Attorney |
|
|
April MacBride, the wife of Cary Sr. Vice President Jon MacBride, has been a PBA attorney for some time now. During that time she has represented members throughout the area in cases related to officer involved shootings and in-custody death situations. An attorney since 1990, April’s extensive legal background includes being a public defender for six years in Rochester, New York. During that time she represented clients with family court matters involving custody, support, abuse and emergency removals. She also was in private practice, where she handled criminal and civil litigation. She was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2001 after moving to the area. She now has her own practice in Raleigh. Cary Chapter members should be pleased to have April MacBride as a PBA attorney. As a police officer's wife, she has special insight into the profession and what we face. She also knows many of our members and their families personally. April truly is a standup person and the membership should be proud of the fact that she has chosen to serve us. (1/3) |
