Cary Chapter Sponsors PAL Team for 2nd Year
Police Activities League Sponsorship Important Part of PBA
The Cary Chapter continued its 2nd year of PAL sponsorship with its support of a Senior Babe Ruth team. The North Carolina Police Activities League Inc. (PAL) is a charitable arm of the NCPBA. PAL seeks to build a positive bond between cops and youth in various age groups. The Triangle Senior Babe Ruth League provides an opportunity for players between the ages 15 to 18 throughout all of District 2 in Eastern North Carolina to participate in a challenging league and further develop their advanced skills. Character, leadership, and sportsmanship are emphasized in the Triangle Senior League. This year’s team finished with a 9-4 record and placed second in their division. The team is coached by Bob Slocum and Bill Kamszik.
