Cary Member Competes in Triathlon

Cary member Matt Pearson competed in the Kerr Lake International Triathlon on June 4th in Henderson, North Carolina. The triathlon which was held at the Bullocksville Recreation Area consisted of a 1500 meter swim, a 24 mile bike ride, and a 10K run. Matt completed the event in an overall time of 2 hours and 39 minutes. Matt started his career with the Cary Police Department in 2000. He is a graduate of Rhode Island College. Matt is currently assigned to the IMPACT team. He also serves on the Honor Guard and is a certified instructor.
