Cary Chapter Member is Recognized for Twenty Years

as a Member

 Dave Wulff is the Longest Serving PBA Member in the Cary Chapter

 

 

Dave Wulff who is member of the Cary Chapter was recently recognized as a 20 year member of the PBA with a letter and pin from SSPBA President Jack Roberts.  According to Roberts, “I am pleased to acknowledge your dedication and loyalty as a member of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association for 20 years.  Due to your unwavering allegiance to this association, we are able to continue in our efforts of bettering the work life of law enforcement officers and support personnel across the southeastern United States.”

 

Dave, who was an original founding board member of the Cary Chapter, began his career in law enforcement at the Summit County Sheriff’s Office (Akron, Ohio) in 1978. While working in Ohio as a police officer he also served at the Hinckley Police Department, the Sagamore Hills Police Department, and the Twinsburg Township Police Department. He began his career with the Cary Police Department in April of 1985, and has worked in various areas of the agency working in Field Operations as a Patrol Officer, D.A.R.E. Officer, Firearms Instructor, Community Services Officer, Patrol Lieutenant, Training Director, Patrol Captain, and is currently the Captain in the Investigations and Family Services Division.

 

Dave holds an A.S. from Wake Technical Community College in Criminal Justice and a B.S. from Campbell University in Criminal Justice. In addition, he is a state-certified instructor with specialization in firearms, use of force, and officer survival. (4/9/07)
