Cary Board Member Completes First Marathon

 

Cary Board Member and Police Activities League Chairperson Sheri Abraham completed her first marathon in San Diego, California. On June 4th, Sheri was one of 17,756 runners who finished the 9th annual Rock "n" Roll Marathon. Sheri finished with a time of 4 hours and 23 minutes. Sheri has been with the Cary Police Department since 1999. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and worked for the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Division as a Park Ranger before coming to Cary. Sheri prides herself in physical fitness and is a former ERT member. She is currently assigned to the Field Services division where she serves as a Field Training Officer and Field Investigator.
